September Film Guide

This September, The Light will be showing newly released blockbuster films from comedies to dramas alongside some much loved family favourites. We’ve picked out some of our favorites in our September film guide.

The New Mutants

Five young mutants undergo treatments to cure them of their super powers whilst at a secret facility against their will. The shared memories that once brought them together soon turn into terrifying realities as they question the truth and fight to escape from the facility.

100% Wolf

Freddy is convinced he will be the most fearsome werewolf. Instead, Freddy is in for a shock when his first warfing goes awry, turning him into a ferocious poodle.


Follow the journey of a young boy as he journeys across an island on a motorcycle trying to get back home. Whilst trying to escape a dark spirit, along the way he makes a series of connections with nature and the animals he meets.

Black Panther

In honour of the late Chadwick Boseman, The Light are reshowing Black Panther which follows T’Challa (Chadwick) as he steps into his Father’s shoes to fight for his rightful place as King of Wakanda.

Hope Gap

Follow the journey of Grace as she finds a new meaning to life with the help of her son Jamie, after her husband of 29 years walks out on their relationship.

Les Miserables

Inspired by the 2005 riots in the suburbs of Paris, Director Ladj Ly’s gives a provocative insight between neighbourhood residents, local gangs and the police.

The Greatest Showman

Rewatch the classic Greatest Showman, an original musical that celebrates the birth of show business by a visionary who rose from nothing and quickly became a worldwide sensation.
